Framed military campaign medals

Framing of five military medals from campaigns of recent times.

The memorabilia was mounted in a shadow box style which has a dual purpose;

1) Creates an attractive depth around each item.   2) Protects items by keeping them safely away from the glazing.

During consultation it was agreed to incorporate a descriptive plaque into the frame design which also adds a nice finishing touch.

Materials used:

White Core Colormount - Rouge

Glass fitted: ArtGlass Water White for extra clarity.

Conservation backing board used to preserve the memorabilia.
